The Lewis Carroll Society Journals

The Lewis Carroll Society publishes three regular journals, which are sent to all members as one of the benefits of membership. In most cases, back issues are available for purchase. Click Here to see what we have sent to members over the past few years.

The Carrollian

Established in 1969 under the name Jabberwocky and relaunched under its new name in 1998, The Carrollian remains the leading journal for Lewis Carroll studies. For further information, visit our dedicated website: The Carrollian.

Lewis Carroll Review

The Lewis Carroll Review was started in 1996 to provide high quality and informative reviews of Carroll-related books, exhibitions, films and theatre production. It is now the most significant source of information about new publications and other events and is indispensable to anyone carrying out up-to-date research.

Bandersnatch

Bandersnatch is the newsletter of the Society, reporting on its activities and on Carrollian news generally. In each issue, we make a number of references to Websites - use our Bandersnatch Links Page to make it is easy to follow up these references.

Jabberwocky

Between 1969 and 1997, the Society's journal, under the name Jabberwocky, published a wide range of scholarly articles and exists today as a body of work essential to the Carroll scholar. In 1998, the journal was re-issued as The Carrollian. The full table of contents is available in a fully searcheable set of webpages on the dedicated website: The Carrollian.
