The Lewis Carroll Society was formed in 1969 in order to promote interest in the life and works of Lewis Carroll and as a way of bringing together Carroll scholars and enthusiasts. Although nominally based in London, England, the Society has a world-wide membership.
This website is maintained by the LCS. It contains many details about the Society and its activities, as well as some information about Lewis Carroll.
Since its foundation, several other Lewis Carroll Societies have been formed - generally with a "local flavour", but most are open to members in all countries. We would appreciate hearing further information about any group dedicated to furthering interest in the life and works of Lewis Carroll.
The LCSNA is similar to the LCS in many ways with an important publishing programme, regular meetings and other activities.
